BCU Welcomes New Board Members with Combined Four Decades of Experience

BCU has announced the two newest members elected to its board of directors at the Credit Union’s annual meeting on March 23. Together, Christine Fleming of Baxter International and Brett Craig of Target hold almost four decades of industry experience.

 


Christine Fleming, current Director of Finance at Baxter, has been a part of the Baxter organization since 2000. Her responsibilities focus on investment management, compliance, and risk mitigation for the benefit plans, totaling over $8 billion. Starting as an intern, Fleming has held several roles of increasing responsibility. She has experience in risk management, financial analysis, process improvement, and communications. Ms. Fleming also holds an MBA in finance, strategy, and organizational management from Northwestern University- Kellogg school of Management. Fleming has served on BCU's Finance Committee since March 2016.


Brett Craig currently works as the Senior Vice President of Technology for Merchandising and Supply at Target. He leads a team of 600 technologists and is highly skilled at building diverse teams. He has served in the organization since 2008. Prior to Target, Craig worked as the Assistant Vice President for Financial Operations at The Hartford for nine years. He has experience in information technology, process improvement, vendor management, and business analysis. Craig holds a Bachelor’s of Science in management from Cardinal Stritch University.
